TMC Mega Raffle will award thousands of prizes, patients real winner

Tucson Medical Center has launched its annual TMC Mega Raffle for the fifth year. Organizers say the 2017 event will award more than 5,600 prizes, with net proceeds benefiting patient care programs and services.
To date, the Mega Raffle has generated more than $2.4 million for the hospital, which is being used to fund and enhance a variety of services and programs for improving patient care.
This year there are two grand prize packages. The first is an A.F. Sterling custom home located in the 253-acre Stone House community, adjacent to the Santa Rita Mountains or the winner can choose the cash option of $600,000. The second grand prize is a 2017 Lincoln Continental plus cash or $150,000 cash.
Each raffle ticket has a one in 20 chance of winning a prize.
Participants that enter before midnight, March 9, will be eligible to win the two Early Bird prize packages both valued at more than $60,000. The first Early Bird prize is a 2017 Toyota 4Runner 4×4 SR5, a six-night luxury vacation package for two to explore the Greek Islands and $16,000 in cash. The second Early Bird prize is the 2017 Toyota Avalon XLE, a five-night retreat at the luxurious Moorea Manava Beach Resort and Spa, plus $15,500 in cash.
Some of the programs that proceeds from the Mega Raffle help to fund:
– Free mammogram program for women in need: This program benefits more than 7,000 women in Southern Arizona and provides free screenings and education. Making these services available, TMC is able to help women with early diagnosis
– Cyber Seniors program: An expansion of services under “TMC for Seniors” that pairs high-school students with seniors in the community to teach them how to communicate using technology; this helps seniors feel more connected and in some instances, can be life saving
– Interventional Room: A new addition at TMC, this room houses state-of-the art equipment and highly trained staff that allows patients to receive diagnosis and treatment in one place, saving critical time for patients that have had a stroke, cardiac issue, complication from cancer or life threatening or altering issues.

Buyers can select from this floor plan or a collection of other floor plans. A buyer could also choose to build a custom home with A.F. Sterling’s custom division.
